I recently discovered that a scarf can double as a top. Living in the tropics my scarf collection is fairly limited. I tend to reserve the ones that I do own for trips to the mainland during the colder months and for airplane rides regardless of the time of year. The beauty of a drapey scarf is that if size allows, the ends can be tied together at the neck and waist and voila–a new printed top is born!
The one that I am wearing is a nice fluid silk jersey fabric that is also insanely comfortable. It drapes to a cowl neck and the breathable fabric is ideal for warmer months. It’s a horse print but on it looks like a collage of pop colors. I paired it with white jeans for a chic spring look.
I coordinated my accessories and make-up to tie the entire ensemble together.
You are so creative! I love the scarf as a top idea. Beautiful photos!
