Pearls, Pearls, Pearls

Cache Jumpsuit, Earrings by SurferGirlJewelry, Clutch Cory Labang, M.A.C. Eyeshadow in Evening Grey and Tall, Dark & Handsome, Estee Lauder Pure Color Lip Gloss Violet Rain SEQUINS

I collect Jumpsuits. Yep. I love them. Most that I see are black but I am lucky to have a couple of solid colored and printed ones in my wardrobe.

While shopping at Cache recently, I spotted this little number. I truly need another black jumpsuit like a hole in my head. The open shoulder design is what set it apart from the sea of black jumpsuits in my closet and I immediately fell in love. My husband who happened to be with me at the time exclaimed, “another black jumpsuit!” I assured him that this one was different from the rest. I have to laugh because I find myself saying that a lot, but this one really is different from the rest!!! The open shoulder look can be dressed up or down for day or night depending on the way it is accessorized. I decided to dress up the piece with pearls. I just started layering them and didn’t stop until I ran out of strands. Evidently. I personally love the layered necklace look and what could be more dramatic than pearls in all shapes, sizes, and colors as that’s what we love them for–their incredible rainbow of hues and beautiful lustre.

My earrings are by SurferGirlJewelry whose pieces can be found on Etsy. These earrings caught my eye immediately with their stunning Tahitian pearls and colorful sunrise shells. They are incredibly comfortable, not to mention unique!

I wanted to add a pop of color to my outfit and in keeping with the tropical theme, I immediately reached for my floral clutch made by Cory Labang.  I picked this piece up while visiting the island of Lanai last year where Cory owns a shop.

The look called for a smoky eye which I achieved with M.A.C. eyeshadows from their Glamour Daze collection in Evening Grey and Tall, dark, & Handsome. My new favorite Lip gloss is Estee Lauder’s Pure Color. I am wearing Violet Rain Sequins.
