Victorias’s Secret Sweater Dress, Nine West Shoes, Michael Kors Watch, Doolittle Jewelry Alexandrite Earrings, Handbeaded Jemstone Bracelets, Horsebit belt, M.A.C. Holiday Pigment Set on eyes, Lip Gloss set on Lips, O.P.I. Nail polish in Iris my Case
Every Fall and Winter, I am on the hunt for a few great Sweater Dresses. I discovered this particular one on www.victoriassecret.com and I loved the fact that it was offered in a beautiful jewel tone and midi length. Most appealing was that this piece is streamlined without the usual bulk found in many sweater dresses. The price was fabulous, so I went with it. Victoria’s Secret clothing while I was once not a fan, has offered some very nice pieces recently and I have found myself constantly returning to the site and purchasing. I have rarely been disappointed with my finds. Nice looks at the right price. I also love a solid dress with a chain belt!
Rich yellows are on-trend this fall so my favorite bag has come in handy as it goes with practically everything. Mustard and Marigold were colors that were popular in the 70’s–my favorite era fashion wise, so I’m all about it.
Gemstones are one of my most favorite thing in the world and I have independently studied them for years. As a student of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), exotic stones are always on my radar. The Alexandrite and Druzy earrings that I am wearing are by Doolitte Jewelry http://www.etsy.com/shop/DoolittleJewelry who is an artist I found on Etsy. Needless to say, I have become a devoted follower as she uses genuine gemstones in her pieces. My bracelets, while I purchased years back are hand-strung Ametrine, Smoky Quartz, and Hematite. These gems can be found at local bead stores. It’s a fun do it yourself project if you’re into jewelry as well as crafts. I have taken jewelry making classes and have made many of my own gemstone bracelets this way–it’s all about finding beautiful stones that you love for the right price. The ring on my right hand is a vintage lion ring in rose gold that I got for a song on ebay. It’s so old and has the letters C.H. engraved on the inside.
The Guilty Passions sets that M.A.C. launched this year are fabulous!!! On my eyelids are the Sweetly Smoky Crushed Pigments (I wet my brushes with Fix+ for maximum color payoff) and I am wearing the darkest color in the Lavish Rose Lip Gloss set on my lips. Nail laquer on fingers is Iris My Case by OPI. On my toes is Essie’s Where’s My Chauffeur.
What a pretty color sweater dress! The purse is a great color too and I love how the colors complement each other. Work those shoes with your great legs!
