I won’t be horseback riding until Wednesday but decided to add a bit of equestrian flare to my outfit today. It’s been a long time since I’ve posted–busy month and it won’t happen again. Promise.
It was a nice day and thankfully a little cool for Honolulu–that means Fall clothes here I come! While a sweater wasn’t in order, jeans and a long sleeve blouse seemed to fit the bill perfectly. I picked up this Banana Republic Horsebit blouse on-sale a few weeks ago. I also bought it in ivory…I tend to do that when I see a particular style I like, I buy mulitple colors. Two different colors, two totally different looks, right? The jeans are my absolute favorite–J.Crew Toothpick Jeans in Indigo. I’m also guilty of picking these up in a few colors–eek! I completed my look with mostly equestrian-inspired jewelry with the exception of my ring which I got on-sale (score!) and gold pyrite chandelier earrings from Doolittle Jewelry http://www.etsy.com/shop/DoolittleJewelry on Etsy. Also from Etsy is my new favorite bag–the BF Equine Utility Bag. Karen of Bravura Horse & Garden http://www.etsy.com/shop/Bravura creates beautiful items for the horse lover or just anyone who appreciates finely crafted high quality items. This particular bag was featured in Victora Magazine. As a horse lover, I have my eye on many of her pieces.
I am in love with Bobbi Brown Cream Eyeshadow and am wearing the color Blue Moon paired with her Indigo Gel Eyeliner. For a bit of color on my cheeks, I added M.A.C. Melba Blush which is a very nice neutral peach. On my lips is the purple hued Up the Amp also by M.A.C. Nail Polish is essie in Boxer Shorts.
